Arrests
An 18-year-old Elmont man was arrested on Sept. 24 at North Fletcher Avenue and Meadowbrook Lane in Valley Stream and charged with reckless driving, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and five violations of the vehicle and traffic law.

Teri Farquharson, 28, of Rosedale, was arrested on Sept. 24 for shoplifting at H&M in Green Acres Mall and charged with petit larceny.
Errol Onfroy, 53, of Springfield Gardens, was arrested on Sept. 24 for shoplifting at Conway at 253-01 Rockaway Turnpike and charged with petit larceny.

Barbara Kane, 61, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Sept. 25 for shoplifting at Macy's in Green Acres Mall and charged with petit larceny.
Rosa Aragon, 35, and Selena Aragon, 18, both of Valley Stream, were arrested on Sept. 26 for shoplifting at Sears in Green Acres Mall and charged with petit larceny.
Alexander Alperovich, 40, of New York, was arrested on Sept. 27 for shoplifting at Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall and charged with petit larceny.
Norman Gonzalez, 47, of Lakeview, was arrested on Sept. 29 for shoplifting at King Kullen on Merrick Road in Valley Stream and charged with petit larceny.
Jennifer Rodriguez Betances, 29, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Sept. 29 for shoplifting at Walmart in Green Acres Mall and charged with petit larceny.
Felipa Gonzales, 40, of Inwood, was arrested on Sept. 30 for shoplifting at Costco in North Lawrence and charged with petit larceny.
A 66-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested on Sept. 30 at Ethel Street and Shaw Avenue in Valley Stream and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
Larceny
An unknown suspect(s) on Sept. 20 removed a package that was delivered earlier that day from the complainant's front steps on Molyneaux Road in Valley Stream.
The complainant reported to police on Sept. 26 that her cell phone was stolen after practice at Valley Stream South High School.
An unknown suspect(s) on Sept. 30 removed a cell phone from a display case the Verizon store in Green Acres.
