Free Child I.D. Program Coming To The Five Towns
Parents should register now so they can get a free I.D. for their children.

Assemblywoman Missy Miller will be holding a free Child I.D. Card Program at the Peninsula Library in Lawrence from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4. This event is open to all Nassau County families. Miller is bringing this free program to Lawrence by partnering with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office.
Everyone who participates will receive a free, wallet-sized child I.D. car, which includes the child's name, photo, fingerprint, date of birth, gender, height, weight, hair color, eye color and other identifying data. The cards are issued to parents on site, and they have the option of sharing the information with the state Division of Criminal Justice's Amber Alert and Missing Child Alert program.
While the event is free, appointments are necessary. For additional information or to schedule an appointment, please call Miller’s office at 516-431-0500.
