The Hewlett Woodmere Business Association is having the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:30PM on Thursday December 11th at Veterans Memorial Plaza. Thanks to our friends at the Knights of Columbus/St. Joseph’s Church for the tree and Ann Demichael at Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano’s office for their hard work and getting help from the Dept. of Public Works and Parks Dept. The Hewlett Fire Dept. will be bringing Santa Claus and lots of fun. Come to Broadway at Piermont Avenue. Dolce will stay open late and will be selling hot chocolate, coffee, waffles, frozen yogurt, gelato and chocolates. Come on down. www.hwba.org
