HEWLETT-WOODMERE, NY — The results are in, and the Hewlett-Woodmere School District's budget passed.

The vote was 2,774 to 2,021 in favor of the spending plan.

In addition, voters also approved a proposition to use money from the capital reserve fund 3,238 to 1,572.

Board of Education Trustees Cheryl May and Paul Critti were running unopposed.

All of the votes were cast by absentee ballot this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
