In today's Daily, get updated on the third arrest in connection with the antisemitic beating of Joseph Borgen in Times Square. Vaccination rates are increasing in Black and Latino Long Island towns. Mask policies are changing in Lawrence and Hewlett schools, and the Village of Cedarhurst announced a summer concert series.

1. Scott Eidler has a story on Woodsburgh resident Edward Farbenblum being named to chairman of the board of Nassau University Medical Center. He is a business owner who operates 18 nursing homes. (Newsday)

2. David Olson and Matt Clark look at the increase in vaccination rates in predominantly Black and Latino Long Island zip codes. Inwood was one of the 10 zip codes that saw the biggest increases in COVID-19 vaccination rates in a recent Newsday. Inwood, with a 66.5 percent Black and Latino population saw a 5 percent increase in those with at least one dose, up to 43.4 percent of residents. (Newsday)

3. Matthew Chayes updates on the arrests of the men who beat Lawrence resident Joseph Borgen in Times Square. Mahmoud Musa is the third man arrested and charged with gang assault and assault as a hate crime for the May 20th attack, that included antisemitic insults. (Newsday)
