Long Island Town Named Great Suburb For Gen Z Home Buyers
One Long Island town checks off all the items that Gen Z buyers are looking for, Homes.com says.

America's youngest adults are reaching the age where they can start purchasing homes. And one website has suggested that they buy on Long Island.
Homes.com recently polled more than 1,000 members of Generation Z — those born between 1996 and 2010 — to find out what they are looking for in a home and a community. The survey showed that Gen Z home buyers are looking for four characteristics in communities: diversity, accessibility, safety and affordability.
So Homes.com put together a list of six suburbs that meet those criteria, and Valley Stream was among them. "Living in Valley Stream has an urban feel and most residents are young professionals who own their homes," the website wrote.
