Here are some things coming up this week:

• The Hewlett High School PTA will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday. More events here.
• The Lawrence Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m. at the Number Two School has been cancelled. More events here.
• The National Council of Jewish Women will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish . There will be a mini-boutique Melinda Bates will speak. Members only. New members may join at the door.
  
• The League of Women Voters' meet the candidates night on Wednesday has been canceled. Some of the candidates who were expected to attend will be at the organization's event on Monday at Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library.
• The annual Rolling River Day Camp Fall Festival will take place Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
  
• Want to bike for a good cause? Consider Chabad of the Five Towns'

• The National Council of Jewish Women Peninsula section — Zimmerman Cultural Event presents "The Gatekeepers" — takes place to HWPL on Sunday at 2 p.m.
