INWOOD, NY — An Inwood man was arrested Monday night after Nassau County police say he attacked his roommate with a box cutter during an argument.

According to police, a 31-year-old Doughty Boulevard man got into an argument with his roommate — 59-year-old Angel Ocevedo — over money. Police say the argument escalated, and Ocevedo pulled out a box cutter and demanded cash. The man refused, and police say Ocevedo slashed at him with the box cutter, cutting the man's hand. He then punched the man in the face multiple times, police said.
