Nassau Police Seeking 3 Who Broke Into, Burglarized Deli
Police say the three used a power saw to cut a lock on the door, then stole the cash register, ATM and a safe.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — Nassau County police are seeking the public's help to find three men who broke into and burglarized a deli early Thursday morning.
According to police, an employee of a deli at 40 Roosevelt Ave. in Valley Stream, arrived at work at 1:45 a.m. and found the lock on the front door had been cut. They then called the police.
When officers arrived, they found the cash register, ATM and a small safe had all been stolen. Surveillance cameras captured three men using a red power saw to cut the lock on the door, and then fleeing in a four-door white sedan. They headed east on Roosevelt Avenue, then north on Rockaway Avenue and then west on Sunrise Highway.

The first robber was a man wearing grey camouflage pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black boots, a face mask and gloves.
The second robber was a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the E.T. logo on the back, a blue neck pillow, black sneakers, a face mask, a blue hat and gloves.

The third robber was a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, black sneakers, a face mask and gloves.
Police are asking anyone with information about this burglary to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
