Sonic is opening its second Long Island location, and the first in Nassau County, on Monday.
The fast-food joint known for its roller-skating waiters will open a location in Valley Stream, located at the Green Acres Mall, at 750 West Sunrise Highway. The franchise already has a location in North Babylon, which has done very well.
It is the second Long Island location, but not the last — the chain is already working on an East Meadow store, which it hopes to open in May, and another location in Nesconset, which is still in the approval process but the company hopes to open later this year.
