Spooky Fest Presented by CSTL Making 7th Annual LI Return

Center for Science Teaching and Learning brings thrills, chills and family fun at Spooky Fest October 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th.

September 27, 2018; Rockville Centre, New York – The 2018 Spooky Fest presented by The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) of Rockville Centre will once again celebrate Halloween this season with an exciting event offering different levels of fright for the whole family. For younger children there is a "Not-So-Spooky Walk" through the forest, a kids arts and crafts area and a meet and greet with merry monsters. For guests seeking more of a thrill, there is a walk through the haunted woods, maze of zombies and other heart racing activities.

Spooky Fest 2018 takes place at Nassau County's Tanglewood Preserve at 1450 Tanglewood Road, Rockville Centre, NY on October 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th, and 28th. The event is from 6:30pm to 9:30pm each evening, rain or shine. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10 for non-spooky attractions only; tickets are $15 for all-inclusive attractions, including both scary and non-scary.
This year's Spooky Fest will feature actors from over 100 volunteers each night from various colleges and high schools who are contributing their time for CSTL.

The Tanglewood Preserves 16 acres are transformed into a unique family friendly, Halloween event for Spooky Fest, with all proceeds going towards CSTL's programs and facilities that focus on educating young people about science and rescuing wildlife. The organization's mission is to encourage science learning and literacy.
