Teenager Injured In Hit-And-Run In North Lawrence: Police

The 13-year-old was taken to a hospital with wounds to his knee and face, police say.

NORTH LAWRENCE, NY — A 13-year-old boy was struck by a car while crossing Burnside Avenue in North Lawrence on Sunday afternoon, Nassau police said.

The driver of a gray and blue Volkswagen Passat took off eastbound toward Rockaway Boulevard, detectives said.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital with cuts to his knee and face, police said.
