Thefts from Cars and Yards and Shoplifting Arrests, May 1-10

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

The Fourth Precinct reported the following incidents of mischief and theft from autos:

• An unknown suspect(s) between April 29 and 30 broke the passenger side window of a vehicle that was parked on Saddle Rock Road in Valley Stream and stole a digital camera.
• An unknown suspect(s) on April 30 broke the passenger window of a vehicle that was parked on Virginia Place in Valley Stream and stole an iPhone.
• An unknown suspect(s) on April 30 broke the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Prospect Avenue in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) on April 30 broke the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Jedwood Place in Valley Stream and stole a bag.
• An unknown suspect(s) between April 21 and May 3 stole golf clubs and a golf bag out of an unlocked garage on Auerbach Avenue in Hewlett Harbor.
• An unknown suspect(s) between May 3 and 4 stole a portable basketball system from outside of a Summit Avenue residence in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) between May 3 and 4 stole a wheelchair from the outside of a Sealy Drive residence in Lawrence.

The Fourth Precinct said the following individuals were arrested and charged with shoplifting:

• Milagros Torres, 27, of Brooklyn, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on May 1
• Diane Holloman, 31, of Laurelton, at the Bath & Body Works in Green Acres Mall on May 2
• Donald Kerr, 49, of Rosedale, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on May 3
• Erika Lester, 20, and Danielle Murphy, 19, both of Inwood, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on May 3
• Meredith Marckesano, 53, of Hempstead, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on May 4
• Darline Jeudy, 37, of Queens Village, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on May 4
• Keisha Jones, 34, of Laurelton, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on May 4
• A 16 year old from Springfield Gardens at the H&M in Green Acres Mall on May 4
• Doris Piedimonte, 50, of Valley Stream, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on May 5
• Monique Scott, 21, of Queens Village, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on May 5
• Fira Dragobetski, 68, of North Woodmere, at the Kohl’s on Long Beach Road in Oceanside on May 6
• Seqzane Dasent, 34, of St. Albans, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on May 6
