Traffic Stop Leads To Parole Violation Arrest: Nassau Police

Police say the man tried to flee when they went to arrest him, and officers gave chase.

INWOOD, NY — A Brooklyn man with an open warrant was arrested early Tuesday morning following a traffic stop in Inwood, Nassau County police said.

According to police, officers saw Christopher Landburg-Parker, 34, of Grand Avenue, Brooklyn, driving a 2013 Nissan north on Sheridan Boulevard with license plates. Officers pulled the car over near Bays Water Boulevard and found that Landburg-Parker had a license plat in the back window which was hard to read.

Police say an investigation found that the out-of-state license plate on display did not belong to Landburg-Parker. He also had a New York State parole warrant for his arrest.
