Burglar Robs 2 Flushing Homes Within An Hour: NYPD
The thief stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and cash from the Queens neighbors, police say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Cops are looking for a thief who allegedly stole cash and jewelry from two neighboring Queens homes in burglaries just an hour apart.
Two Flushing residents both reported a man breaking into their homes near College Point Boulevard and Pople Avenue in the early hours of Jan. 22, police said.
The thief forced his way into the first home through the front door at around midnight and stole $200 in cash before fleeing, cops said.

A nearby house reported a similar burglary at around 1 a.m. The man forced his way in through the front door and stole around $2,000 worth of jewelry, police said.
Cops described the suspect as a medium-built man last seen wearing dark clothes. The NYPD released surveillance footage of him on Wednesday captured near the homes before the burglaries.
