Burglars Steal 12 Pairs Of Shoes From Flushing Apartments: NYPD

Two men stole the dozen pairs of shoes from the hallways of an apartment complex, cops say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for two footwear bandits who snuck into a Queens apartment complex and stole a dozen pairs of shoes from the hallways.

The unidentified duo snuck into the Flushing apartment building near 157th Street and 43rd Avenue through a side door just before 11 p.m. on Feb. 26, police said.

Once inside, the two swiped 12 pairs of shoes that were sitting in the hallways and fled the complex in an unknown direction, cops said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the suspects on Tuesday. Police estimate both are around 20-25 years old.
