Cardi B Charged With Assault In Queens Strip Club Incident: NYPD
The Bronx-born rapper was allegedly involved in a fracas at a Flushing strip club, police said.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — She'd better "Be Careful" with the cops. Cardi B was charged with assault and reckless endangerment Monday in connection with an August fracas at a Flushing strip club, the NYPD said.
The Bronx-born rapper — whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar — and others allegedly caused a scene at Angels Gentleman's Club by throwing objects in the early morning of Aug. 29, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Almánzar turned herself in Monday morning at the 109th Precinct in Flushing and was given a desk appearance ticket, the spokeswoman said.

The "Bodak Yellow" artist was at the College Point Boulevard club because of a performance by the rap trio Migos, of which her husband Offset is a member, according to TMZ, which first reported that she would surrender to police.
Almánzar allegedly ordered members of her entourage to attack two bartenders at the club, one of whom she had a "long-standing beef" with, the website reported.

"We’re aware of no evidence she caused anybody any harm at the club that night," Jeff Kern, Almánzar's lawyer, told reporters, according to the New York Daily News.
Almánzar's surrender came just two days after her Saturday performance at Central Park's Global Citizen Festival.
