Boy, 2, Seriously Hurt After Falling From Flushing Window

A young boy is in critical condition after falling three stories in Flushing, according to the FDNY.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — A two-year-old boy is in critical condition after falling three stories in Flushing, authorities said.

The child fell three stories from a sixth-floor window at 142-28 38th Ave. onto a balcony about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to spokespeople for the NYPD and the FDNY.

The cause of the fall is unknown. The child is expected to survive the fall, the NYPD spokesperson said.

Emergency responders rushed the child to Cohen Children's Medical Center at North Shore University Hospital, according to the FDNY.
