Bar Worker Beaten For Asking Patrons To Pay Tab: NYPD

A group of men viciously punched, kicked and hit the employee with a bottle when he asked them to pay their $120 tab, police said.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a group of patrons who viciously beat an employee at a Flushing karaoke bar after he suggested they settle up the $120 bill they'd racked up that night, police said.

Despite the karaoke bar on Fowler Avenue closing at 4 a.m., several men were still inside IgNight by 5:30 a.m. when a 41-year-old employee asked them to pay the tab they'd racked up, cops said.

The group instead began punching and kicking the employee before hitting him in the head with a bottle, authorities said.

The NYPD released photos on Tuesday night of the violent patrons, who police estimate to be in their late 40s.
