FLUSHING, QUEENS — Flushing's legendary Golden Shopping Mall is closing for renovations, reports say.
The beloved underground food hall shut its doors July 30, according to Grub Street.
It is unclear when it will reopen and which vendors will return. Many, like Express Tea Shop, have already closed. Some, like Tianjin Dumpling House, have plans to relocate.

Golden Mall, a go-to spot for authentic Chinese food, is best known as the birthplace of Flushing's Dumpling Galaxy and Xi'An Famous Foods.
The late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain featured Xi'An's Golden Mall stand on his food show "No Reservations" over a decade ago, a boost that helped owner John Wang turn his family business into a successful citywide chain.
