Free Flushing Food Festival Will Showcase Culinary Hot Spots

Try everything from Taiwanese wheel cake to pho at Flushing's free food festival on April 13.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — Flushing is a culinary hot spot, and an April food festival will give people a taste of what the Queens neighborhood has to offer.

Free tickets are available starting Monday for the Flushing Food Festival on April 13, the Flushing Business Improvement District announced. Each ticket comes with three free food samples and the event will feature a live jazz performance, according to QNS.com.

Tickets are first-come, first-serve and are required to attend. Tickets will be available April 1 at www.flushingbid.com.

The Flushing Food Festival will take place on Saturday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Sheraton LaGuardia Hotel Ballroom, located at 135-20 39th Ave.
