FLUSHING, QUEENS — Häagen-Dazs is coming to The Shops at Skyview Center.

The ice cream brand will celebrate its grand opening at the Flushing mall on April 26 with free scoops and other rewards — including a year of free ice cream.

The Skyview Center Häagen-Dazs, owned and operated by Alex Hsieh, will give a free ice cream scoop to the first 300 guests. Visitors will also get scratch-off cards with the chance to win a year's worth of free ice cream and other prizes.

Häagen-Dazs opened its first shop in Brooklyn in 1976 and now has more than 200 independently-owned locations throughout the country.
