FLUSHING, QUEENS — Police have arrested a man captured on video punching a woman outside a Flushing church last month, the NYPD announced early Thursday.

Chun Wang, 36, faces charges of assault and harassment for punching a parishioner on her way to midday mass at Saint Michael's Church on Oct. 28, according to police and a news report.

The church's priest, Father John Vesey, told CBS New York the man frequented their Sunday lunches for the homeless but that, the day before the attack, they'd asked him to leave.

"He gets very, very angry and gets angry with our staff," he told the news outlet. "One of the women – what we would call the administrator – she said we can’t serve you if you’re going to be like that, treating people."

But Wang showed up at the church the next day and, again, was asked to leave, CBS New York reported. On his way out, he punched the 53-year-old parishioner in the back of the head.
