MTA Worker Killed By Reversing Bus In Queens, Police Say
The employee was fatally struck on Tuesday by a bus backing up inside an MTA College Point bus depot, police say.

COLLEGE POINT, QUEENS -- A Queens MTA employee is dead after he was hit by a reversing bus inside a College Point bus depot on Tuesday morning, police said.
Stephen Livecchi, 59, of Middle Village, was working inside the Metropolitan Transit Authority bus depot at around 10 a.m. when he was struck by a bus backing up inside the station on 28 Avenue, cops told Patch.
Medics pronounced Livecchi dead on scene.

The bus' 56-year-old driver remained on-scene after she mowed down Livecchi and no arrests were made, an NYPD spokeswoman said. The investigation is ongoing.
