Pickpocket Steals Over $1K From Woman In Flushing Market: NYPD
The thief stole the woman's cash from her purse when she stepped away from her shopping cart, police say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- A woman who stepped away from her shopping cart inside a Flushing supermarket came back to find her wallet - and the $1,100 inside it - had been snatched, police said.
Cops are searching for the thief who slid the 36-year-old woman's wallet from her purse while she was grocery shopping inside a J-Mart on Roosevelt Avenue near Main Street the evening of Feb. 22.
When the woman walked away from her shopping cart, an unknown man slid the wallet from her purse and fled, making off with the $1,100 in cash and five credit cards inside it, authorities said.

The NYPD released photos of the suspected pickpocket, shown wearing a black "Sox" baseball cap and zip up hoodie.
