Serial Pickpocket Targets Women In Downtown Flushing: NYPD
The thief swiped wallets and phones from at least 10 women over the course of three months, police say.

FLUSHING, QUEENS -- Cops are looking for a thief who they believe stole phones and wallets from at least 10 women in downtown Flushing over a three-month period.
The man reportedly pickpocketed the 10 women between October 29 and Jan. 16. During that time, he made off with iPhones, credit cards, IDs and more, police told Patch.
Police first sent out an alert about the serial property-snatcher after the eighth theft in December, noting a majority of the incidents tended to happen on Main street near 40th Road.

The thief last struck on Jan. 16 on a stairwell at 41-60 Main Street, an NYPD spokesman said. The woman was walking up the stairs at around 5:20 p.m. when she felt someone touch her purse. She later realized the thief had made off with her iPhone 6, along with four credit cards and a debit card, cops said.
The NYPD released surveillance photos of the suspect, who police described as a man in his 40s .
