US Open: Tickets, Schedule, Parking And What You Need To Know

Tennis fans will flock to Queens for the 2019 US Open, which runs from Aug. 26 to Sept. 8. Here's what you need to know.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — Tennis fans will flock to Flushing next week, when the US Open kicks off its 2019 tournament.

The Queens-based tournament starts Aug. 26 and runs until Sept. 8. Individual tickets are available here, with the cheapest seats costing between $40 and $60.

Each day's first match starts at 11 a.m. until the semifinals begin Sept. 5. A full schedule is available on the US Open website, and a list of the gate opening times is available here.

Tennis fans who don't want to splurge on tickets can instead attend practice sessions or watch the qualifying tournament, which began Aug. 19. Attendees who register for the US Open Fan Access Pass can reserve a spot in the front rows during player practices.

Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early. Attendees may only bring one bag onto the grounds, though backpacks aren't allowed; a list of prohibited items is available here.

Food options include five restaurants and 60 concession stands, with highlights including outposts of Dumpling Galaxy and fried chicken spot Fuku.
