4 Forest Hills Leaders Are Among The Top 100 In Queens: Report

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Several politicians and civic leaders with ties to Forest Hills are among the top 100 leaders in Queens who are championing the borough’s pandemic recovery efforts, according to a new report.

The 100-person long list released by City & State this week features leaders of all kinds, across the entire borough — from health care professionals in Flushing and Elmhurst, to union chiefs in southeastern Queens — who are bringing Queens back from the devastation of the COVID pandemic, after the borough became New York City’s epicenter of the epicenter last year.

City Councilmember Karen Koslowitz, State Senators Joseph Addabbo Jr. and Toby Ann Stavisky and senior vice president and executive director for the central region of Northwell Health, including its Forest Hills location, Jason Naidich, are among the list’s top 50 people.

In addition to people who hold borough-wide positions, like Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, these Forest Hills leaders are named for their contributions to Queens during the last year.

To name a couple: Stavitsky helped pass legislation to improve student aid, and Naidich oversaw Northwell Health’s COVID mapping program.
