American Airlines Passenger Looks Out Window, Sees Drone Near LaGuardia Airport
Just one day after federal transportation officials announced a nationwide drone crackdown.

A passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 4125 from St. Louis to NYC happened to look out the window as the flight was landing at LaGuardia Airport on Tuesday afternoon, reports ABC New York — and spotted what appeared to be a personal drone buzzing nearby.
According to ABC: “The crew of American Airlines Flight 4125 reported that the passenger saw an unmanned aircraft as the Embraer E145 aircraft was approaching to land on Runway 22.”
The plane missed the drone and landed safely around 4:20 p.m. Still, the FAA is now reportedly investigating the passenger’s drone sighting.
