Flushing Man Falls To His Death From Sixth Story Window: NYPD
His father watched in horror as the man plummeted six stories in an accidental fall while renovating the window, the Daily News reported.

REGO PARK, QUEENS -- A Queens man plummeted six stories to his death after an accidental fall from a Rego Park apartment window on Tuesday as his father looked on in horror, police and reports say.
John Davie, 26, was doing renovations to the apartment on Saunders Street near 62nd Drive when he slipped and fell at around 2:55 p.m., police said. The Flushing man had been doing work on the apartment with his father and another man when the accident occurred, the New York Daily News reported.
Davie was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

His father was seen sobbing on the sidewalk as a police officer responding to the scene tried to comfort him.
Upon hearing her son had died from the fall, Davie's mother collapsed outside the building, the Daily News reported. Both parents were taken away from the scene by ambulance, according to the Daily News.
