FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The Festival of Cinema brings its third season to a close this weekend with a sold-out world premiere of "Ovid and the Art of Love," starring Corbin Bleu and John Savage.
The Forest Hills film festival concludes 10 days of movie showings and other events for cinephiles with four final screenings Saturday, followed by an awards dinner celebration Sunday.
Written and directed by Esmé von Hoffman, "Ovid and the Art of Love" tells the story of a young man in contemporary Detroit who gets in danger after writing a provocative guide to love, a modern retelling of the life of the poet Ovid.

The festival ends with the New York premiere of "Quest - The Truth Always Rises," Santiago Rizzi's story of a middle schooler caught in the graffiti underworld whose teacher sets him on a different path, based on the filmmaker's own past.
Screenings take place at the Regal UA Midway in Forest Hills.
