Forest Hills Grocery Store Worker Gets Arm Stuck In Meat Grinder
The FDNY had to take apart the meat grinder in order to free the man, whose arm was stuck in the machine up to his shoulder.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A worker got his arm stuck in a meat grinder at a Forest Hills grocery store this weekend, said fire officials, who had to take the machine apart in order to get the man out.
At around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday May 29, the FDNY was called to Halal Meat, a grocery store at 64-36 108th Street in Forest Hills.
When they arrived, the employee, whose sleeve accidentally got caught in the machine, had his arm stuck in the grinder up to his shoulder, reported the New York Post.

According to the FDNY, firefighters had to take the grinder apart and “disentangle” the man from the machine before transporting him to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital.
Another store employee told the Post over the weekend that the man is “OK,” but didn’t provide any other details.
