Forest Hills Public Library To Reopen For To-Go Service

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Forest Hills residents will soon be able to resume picking up new reads at their local library.

The Forest Hills library is among seven more library branches that are reopening for limited "to-go" service starting Sept. 28, the Queens Public Library announced Monday.

Starting Tuesday, individuals can request books and other reading materials to pick up once the branch reopens next week.

The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a one-hour closure from 1 to 2 p.m. for cleaning; from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday; and from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with a one-hour closure from 3 to 4 p.m. for cleaning.
