Happy Mother’s Day To Judith Berman

"You always put my needs before your own, and I can't say how much I appreciate you."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Marc Berman's letter to his mom:

Dear Mother (Judy),

This letter is to let you know how much I love and appreciate all you do for me as my mother. You are so very loving and giving, always with a smile and a great laugh. You have always been there, helping me and advocating for me. You are so thoughtful, making every birthday and holiday special. You know exactly the right thing to make me laugh. You find special things that no one else finds and it adds so much humor.

Thank you for being such a great mom. I never have to ask twice — as soon as I need anything, you are right there with it, and you have truly gone above and beyond to help. I almost did not finish school, but then you got me set up with home instruction and have been there to make sure I got through everything and turned it all around. Now, I am graduating with a regents diploma.

No other mother is as special or giving or fights as hard for her son with such tenacity. I am truly blessed. Thanks for being our mom. You have always been there for me.

I truly love you, my mother. You are the strongest person I know. You always put my needs before your own, and I can’t say how much I appreciate you. There is never a day where I can’t go to you for love and advice. You are truly inspirational in how much you sacrifice.

Love and thanks always,
Your son, Marc
