Here's Who Forest Hills Donors Are Supporting For NYC Mayor

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — More than 40 people have launched campaigns to be the next mayor of New York City, and a new interactive map shows which candidates have Forest Hills residents already pulling out their wallets.

As of January, 198 people living in the Forest Hills ZIP code 11375 have donated to a mayoral campaign, according to the donor map compiled by the New York City Campaign Finance Board.

Forest Hills donors have so far put more than $36,000 into the mayoral race, with an average donation of $184, the Campaign Finance Board map shows.

City Comptroller Scott Stringer drew the most donations, with four dozen, but Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams raked in the most money from Forest Hills residents, with nearly $17,000 from 44 contributors, according to the data.

Stringer's 48 Forest Hills donations added up to just under $9,000.

Former nonprofit executive Dianne Morales and Maya Wiley, a former MSNBC analyst and legal counsel to Mayor Bill de Blasio, also drew a couple dozen Forest Hills donors each, the data shows.

Morales had 40 donors in the ZIP code 11375, for $1,785 total, and Wiley had 32 donors, for a sum of $1,371.

Wall Street executive Ray McGuire received only 10 donations in the area, but he raked in $9,220 from them.
