KAREN KOSLOWITZ Sells Out Kew Gardens/Forest Hills for a Jail

As if Having a Problematic Homeless Shelter in the Area is Not Enough - There Goes the Neighborhood

So what does long time elected hack KAREN KOSLOWITZ get out of approving plans for a huge jail to be dumped into the community of Kew Gardens/Forest Hills, which we all know, even without studies, will
bring crime to the area, major traffic congestion, more loitering than the already problematic Comfort Inn Homeless Shelter (across from this proposed jail site) and a host of other quality of life issues.
As if having that problematic homeless shelter for single men was not bad enough (panhandling, loitering, public defecation, public alcohol/drug use, etc), wait till this jail gets dumped here.

SO Karen, what are you getting out of this deal that you will sell out the community you are supposed to represent?

REMEMBER Karen Koslowitz, come election time.

AND let’s not forget the BIG CULPRIT in all of this, the worst Mayor in NYC history, BILL DEBLASIO, destroying good communities block by block.

In the meantime:
If you would prefer NOT to have this facility in our neighborhood, where IT DOES NOT BELONG, you can voice your opinion at a hearing to be held regarding this proposal on:

September 26, 2018, at 6:00 PM Queens Borough Hall,

120-55 Queens Boulevard, Kew Gardens, NY 11424.
