Midsummer Volunteer Day, held 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is an opportunity for Forest Hills residents and others to assist with midsummer maintenance of MacDonald Park, which is bounded by 70th Road as well as Queens and Yellowstone Boulevards.

At the forefront of the fundraiser is Friends of MacDonald Park, whose volunteers engage in projects to help maintain and improve MacDonald Park, per the organization’s Facebook page.
