Mad For Chicken To Open Forest Hills Location

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The restaurant chain Mad for Chicken is bringing its signature soy garlic fried chicken and Korean-inspired dishes to Forest Hills.

The chain will open a location next month at 71-37 Austin St., according to the Forest Hills Post.

It will take the place of Hinoki Japanese Restaurant, which closed at the end of July.

"Why Queens?" Mad for Chicken wrote about the new location on its website. "Well, the question should really be, 'Why NOT Queens?', right?"

Mad for Chicken opened its first location in Flushing in 2005. It has since expanded to Bayside, Sunnyside and Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and started offering franchising opportunities this year.
