New Kosher Pizzeria Opens This Month In Forest Hills
Mezze Mediterranean Pizzeria will replace Primadonna Pizza on Queens Boulevard.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A new eatery in Forest Hills will offer pizzas with a Mediterranean twist.
Mezze Mediterranean Pizzeria will open this month at 100-18 Queens Blvd., general manager Joseph Boro said. The restaurant is planning an opening event for the Forest Hills community but has not finalized the details.
The pizzas will be kosher-certified by Vaad Harabonim of Queens, according to Forest Hills resident and historian Michael Perlman.

Mezze opens in the former site of Primadonna Ristorante e Pizzeria, which had been in business for more than 40 years; the family-style pizzeria opened under another name around 1978 and was renamed Primadonna in 1984, Perlman said.

Mezze Mediterranean Pizzeria is located at 100-18 Queens Blvd.
