FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A new supermarket is opening on Metropolitan Avenue, and it's promising to be an "extraordinary food experience," according to its website.
Angie's Market will offer organic food, artisanal breads, aged prime beef, fresh seafood, prepared foods and catering when it opens its doors at 100-27 Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills.
It's unclear when exactly the supermarket will open, and Patch's attempt to reach a company representative for comment was unsuccessful.

Angie's website says the supermarket was scheduled to open in January.
The location was previously home to the California-based restaurant chain Sizzler, according to the Queens Gazette.
