Person Hit By A Train At Forest Ave Subway Station, Officials Say
A person was hit by a train at the M train station in Ridgewood on Tuesday afternoon, MTA and fire officials said.

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS -- A person was hit by a train at a Queens subway station on Tuesday afternoon, MTA officials said.
The straphanger was struck near at the M train station at Forest and 67th avenues in Ridgewood just after 1:30 p.m., MTA and fire officials said.
An FDNY spokesman confirmed the person hit was en route to Wycoff Hospital after being pulled out from under the train by emergency responders.

The MTA warned commuters to expect delays on the M train after the incident shut down service between Myrtle Ave and Middle Village-Metropolitan Ave subway stations.
Riders were urged to take Q54, Q58, B38 or B54 local buses as an alternate route.
