Person Struck By Train In Forest Hills, MTA Says
E, F, M and R subway service between Manhattan and Queens has been temporarily suspended, according to the MTA.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A person was struck by a train in Forest Hills on Tuesday evening, according to the MTA.
The incident happened about 5 p.m. at the Forest Hills-71st Avenue station.
The person was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, according to an FDNY spokesperson. Details on the person's condition are unknown.

E, F, M and R service between Manhattan and Queens has been temporarily suspended while emergency crews respond, the MTA said. Commuters are urged to instead take the 7 train or the Q60 bus.
Jamaica-bound E trains are being re-routed onto the C line from 50th Street to 168th Street, the last stop. Jamaica-bound F trains are being re-routed onto the Q line to 96th Street/2nd Avenue.

Forest Hills-bound M trains are ending at Chambers Street on the J line, then turning around for Middle Village-bound service. Forest Hills-bound R trains are ending at 57th Street-7th Avenue or 96th Street/2nd Avenue on the Q line.
The LIRR is accepting MetroCard holders and OMNY users for no additional cost between Penn Station and Jamaica, the MTA tweeted just after 5:30 p.m.
