Queens Borough Hall Kicks Off Its Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz on Tuesday kicked off her annual holiday toy drive for children in need.

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — Queens Borough President Melinda Katz on Tuesday kicked off her annual holiday toy drive for children in need.

Queens residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages from now until Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Queens Borough Hall. Donations are anonymous and not tax-deductible.

The Battalion Pentecostal Assembly Church in Far Rockaway and St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children in Bayside will distribute donated toys to children across the borough.

"The holiday season is a time to rejoice with our families and give thanks for the blessings in our lives," Katz said in a statement. "In the spirit of giving, please consider donating to make sure children across the borough will share in the joy the holidays bring."

There will be a holiday toy drive box in the lobby of Queens Borough Hall at 120-55 Queens Blvd. in Kew Gardens.
