Queens Borough President's Office To Host Virtual Job Fair
The Office of the Queens Borough President will host a virtual jobs recruitment fair Wednesday.
QUEENS, NY — The Office of the Queens Borough President will host a virtual jobs recruitment fair Wednesday to help Queens residents find employment in essential services.
The webinar, which takes place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., includes brief presentations from employers and recruiters seeking to fill hundreds of positions in fields like health care, transportation, retail and security.
Among the participating employers is NYC Health + Hospitals, which is hiring contact tracers to help the city slow the spread of the new coronavirus.

The webinar is also co-hosted by the Child Center of NY, Council for Airport Opportunity, Queens Centers for Progress, Queens College, the U.S. Census Bureau, US Open, WATCH GUARD 24/7, Workforce1 Career Center and the Young Adult Institute.
“Amidst the devastating impact of COVID-19, many employers are hiring to fill jobs in key sectors of our economy,” Acting Queens Borough President Sharon Lee said. “The road to recovery and rebuild is on the horizon, and we want Queens to be at the forefront.”
