Queens Library Starts Business Incubator For New Entrepreneurs
The Queens Public Library's new program, announced Thursday, aims to help new and prospective business owners make their ideas a reality.
QUEENS, NY — The Queens Public Library is launching a business incubator series to help new and prospective business owners make their ideas a reality.
The eight-week program will teach entrepreneurs about market research, customer development, basic accounting, developing a pitch deck and managing finances, among other topics.
Classes will meet virtually every Wednesday evening, starting Feb. 24.

At the end of the program, participants will pitch their business plans in a competition to win up to $500 for their burgeoning enterprise.
The program is open to entrepreneurs whose businesses are no more than three to 12 months old and can operate online. Applications, available here, are due by Feb. 12.
