Queens Public Library Launches Remote Printing Services
Library cardholders can submit files online and pick up the print-outs at one of 35 open Queens Public Library branches.
QUEENS, NY — The Queens Public Library is launching on-demand printing services at its 35 branches open for to-go service, officials announced Friday.
Library cardholders will be able to submit printing requests by uploading files to the Queens Public Library’s website from a mobile device or computer, then pick up the printed pages at their local library branch, according to a news release.
Cardholders may print up to 20 black-and-white pages per day and will get notified by phone or email when their files are ready for pick up.

“Prior to closing our physical locations in March because of the pandemic, free printing was one of the top reasons people visited our libraries,” Queens Public Library President and CEO Dennis M. Walcott said. “We know how much people rely on us to print government forms, tax information, school reports, résumés, and other documents. Remote printing is one of the many ways Queens Public Library has stepped up to serve our communities at a moment when they need us more than ever.”
