Renowned Tutoring Program Launches Daytime Home School Co-op

Kweller Prep, known for Tutoring Students Seeking Specialized High Schools and the Ivy Leagues, Develops a Homeschool Pod in Forest Hills

Kweller Prep, a tutoring center based in Forest Hills, has expanded its course options to include a daytime Home School Learning Co-op."This is what our community needs, and we are in a position to provide it," says founder and director Frances Kweller. Small, in-person and online daytime classes will meet from Monday to Friday teaching students in grades 3-8 core subjects, a second language, and art.

Classes start on September 8, 2020, and will be offered at Kweller Prep's Queens and Manhattan locations. "We hired a homeschool education consultant, licensed teachers, and a curriculum developer to meet and exceed our community's expectations."

With the announcement that New York City public schools will not fully reopen, more families are opting for homeschooling than ever before. In-person learning "pods" are developing at a rapid pace, especially by families with younger children who want to avoid screen-time learning.
