SEE IT: Man Punches 69-Year-Old Doorman, Knocks Him To The Ground

The doorman tried to kick out a man rolling a blunt in the basement, one report says. The man punched him in the face, causing a fracture.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who punched a 69-year-old doorman in the face and knocked him to the ground last Saturday night in Forest Hills.

According to the NYPD, on June 26 around 9:18 p.m., the doorman was working in the basement of 104-21 68th Drive in Forest Hills, when he saw an unknown man and asked him to leave. At the time, the man was trying to roll a blunt in the basement building, reported the New York Daily News.

In an incident caught on video, the man followed the doorman into the elevator and when they got to the 1st floor he punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, police reported.

The older man hurt his face as a result of the assault. He initially didn't want to go to the hospital, but later, after going to Flushing Hospital Medical Center, he found out that he had a facial fracture, according to the NYPD.

The person who punched him ran away from the building, and as of Wednesday June 30 no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police did not give a description of the attacker, but they included footage from a building security camera, which shows the entire assault.
