REGO PARK, QUEENS — Woodhaven House is closing after 16 years serving Irish pub fare to the communities of Rego Park, Middle Village and beyond.

The Irish bar and restaurant announced Thursday that it won't reopen after the end of the coronavirus pandemic, citing financial issues stemming from the crisis.

"It is not financially possible to continue," the announcement said. "These last few months have been devastating for us all in so many ways."
