Twelve units of the New York Fire Department responded to a fire on the third floor of a building at Whitman Houses on Thursday.
According to FDNY, the blaze was called in at 2:53 p.m. at 102 Cumberland Walk near Carlton Avenue.
Around 60 firefighters helped put out the fire at 3:19 p.m., FDNY said.Â
